"I am a huge fan of Keiryu Karate and its Sensei Lee Mullan! Having been around various martial arts for most of my life, I’ve seen many different approaches. What I particularly like about Keiryu is that is offers something for everyone, from the seasoned karateka looking to deepen their knowledge and extend their Dan grades, to the utter novice (child or adult) wanting to try something new and dip their toe in the water. The syllabus provides a lovely bend of practicality and tradition, taking time tested techniques and applying them to present days situations. For someone like me, with a background in other martial arts, it was nice to be able to incorporate the skills and techniques I already had into my karate practice. Lee himself is friendly, approachable, excellent with little ones and utterly obsessed with Karate! He is as keen to share his love of karate with you as he is to find out about you, your passions, and experiences. While he will encourage you to stretch your limits, he will never ask you to do something you are not comfortable with! Whoever you are, whatever your experience (or lack of it) I urge you to give Keiryu Karate a try, I’m confident that you will enjoy it every bit as much as I do!"
